ABOUT BRIT FRISCO

Brit Frisco is the musical lovechild of San Francisco native Diona Devincenzi and Brit Paul Robert Cufflin.

Both successful songwriters in their own right, with their respective songs having been featured in hundreds of TV shows, movies, and commercials, they met in Los Angeles in the fall of 2015 and instantly bonded over a mutual love of all things retro-soul.

Although their debut album Roll Around sounds like two artists working closely together, it was actually written and recorded across two continents, with Diona based in Nashville, Tennessee and Paul in southern Spain.

The result is a collection of rootsy, retro soul and R&B songs like yo’ mama used to make. While the tunes are heavily influenced by past greats such as Otis Redding, Al Green, The Staple Singers, Aretha Franklin, and The Meters, they’re served with a unique modern twist a la current artists like Leon Bridges, Nathaniel Radcliffe, Raphael Saadiq, Allen Stone, Vintage Trouble, et al.
